About Us

Boasting more then 16 years of expertise in the construction & home remodeling field, Jon  continues to hone his craft to the limits, every chance he gets.

Starting his passion for the trades at Crestwood High School he transferred to Maplewood Career Center where he studied carpentry. After he graduated top of his class, his logical next step was to join the union. Jon joined way back when the local 21 was still the carpenters union!

He stayed on through the transition to the local 435 and would spend his next years learning in the field and developing his skills. After years honing his craft he went into business and started Diamond Select Construction LLC with one goal in mind: "To choose the diamonds in the rough and make them SHINE!"

Jon has propelled himself to the forefront of the home improvement community. Through a combination of hard work, determination, and perseverance coupled with a passionate drive he consistently  brings a smile to the faces of both customers and professionals alike. 

A proud community member, father, home owner, and small business owner Jon's busy schedule keeps him on his toes. When he does find time off from his many commitments and responsibilities you can find him with his family spending quality time in nature or in his workshop passing his skills and hobbies on to his son in hopes the next generation of hard working skilled tradesman may be carried on through him.
